    Unanswered: Oracle start problem on FC3

    I've installed Oracle 10g Server on Fedora Core 3 as it should

    that's my `set | grep ora` ouyput when i logged in as user `oracle`
    [oracle@ora ~]$ set | grep ORA
    ORACLE_BASE=/ora/oraapp/app/oracle
    ORACLE_HOME=/ora/oraapp/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/Db_1
    ORACLE_SID=orcl
    [oracle@ora ~]$

    when I'm running lsnrctl program this is printing ...

    [oracle@ora ~]$ lsnrctl

    LSNRCTL for Linux: Version 10.1.0.3.0 - Production on 07-MAR-2005 14:09:18

    and.... I issued start command

    LSNRCTL> start

    Can somebody tell me what's Problem?

    did you set up your listener to point to a database?
    did you even create a database? if so, is that "orcl"?
