    Unanswered: data base restart time

    DB = 10gAS (9i)

    Is there a select command that shows me when the data base was last started?

    A related question is where are the log files for an AS start up created?

    Thanks

    There is a startup_time in v$instance ... Not sure about 10g... you
    might desc v$database

    Gregg,

    Thanks v$instance.startup_time was the trick.

    NOTE: At this point 10gAS is built on/stored in a 9iDB.
