    Unanswered: Transferring 4.1 to 4.0

My DB is in a version 4.1 MySQL. I need to switch it to another server with 4.0. I keep getting errors. Someone claimed I simply needed to remove all CHARset=latin1 lines yet that didnt solve it. Now the error is:#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'PK' at line 1

And in line 1 I cant tell what it is referring to with that error. I am not experienced at all with databases.

    Hi,

Export de table script and change the Charset language in the new script, and then apply the new database script.

    Regards,

I took out some things and kept getting new errors over and voer. And someone told me there is no easy way to do it and I need to actually back up my DB as 4.0 format somehow. But I dont understand how. As far as I know they were saying how to do it with shell access, but I only have phpmyadmin access as far as I know.

I am so confuse.d I have little DB experience.
