You need to modify your environment variable CLASSPATH and then from inside Forms 6i go to Program, Import Java Classes, and that will create a PL/SQL package so you can interact between your form and the java class.

    Hi Chinmaya,

    What's your Operating System? Windows?

You need to add your .jar file to the CLASSPATH, in Windows go to My PC, Properties, Advanced, Environment Variables and add to the system var CLASSPATH your jar file.

After that open Forms6i, go to Program, Import Java Classes and all the available java classes will be displayed, just choose the one you need and Forms will take cake of creating automatically a PL/SQL package so you can interact with your classes.

Search www.otn.oracle.com, they have and example for "Import Java Classes".

Oh, and "Saludos" it's not my name... It means "Regards" in spanish...

    Saludos,
    DKG.

I can't tell you for sure...
But if you package your classes in a .jar file you won't have any problems, at least that's what we do.
