    Unanswered: RMAN script question

Hi Guys, Got a question on RMAN. One of our Previous DBA's was running a RMAN backup job on our production server.
I can see the RMAN Level 0 backup being done once a day and Level 1 being done 5 times a day from the archeiveing folder. But, I couldnt locate the RMAN backup script being used for this process. Is this script being internally stored on Oracle? I dont see a batch job being run on the system. How do I go abt finding and getting the script?
    Thanks,
    Kishore

    Cool

Even if the RMAN script were stored in the catalog, You still need a shell script to execute RMAN.

Look into the Oracle account, the DBA account and other crontab's to find the script.

Or ... Look at the database jobs.

    Hi,
I think the DBA was using control file instead of recovery catalog. Is there a way to look at the script from the catalog..

If you are not using an RMAN catalog, you cannot save RMAN scipts.

Look for s shell script in the places I recommended.
