    Unanswered: security problem

I have the following security issue

if the databases files were stolen (*.mdf+*.ldf) while the db is offline(or any other possible way) and the db was attached in another sql server instance
    it will be a disaster

how can I secure th db so that other admin can't attach it in their instances

    thanx

I'd have to assume that the other admin know the sa password of your server instance or methinks they would have problems attatching the .mdf & .ldf files to another SQL Server.

In which case they could pop in and copy database wizard the lot from the other side of the world without u Knowing anyway.
