    Unanswered: Email update

I need to add the email addresses for all my employees from the Outlook address book into my main employees table.

I'm not good at Outlook and it's call, as I do not use them, but rarely.

The examples I saw require "ActiveWorkBook", which I am not able to activate, even with Office objects enabled.

Is there a direct MSF set of functions I can call to get this or does someone have an example without the "ActiveWorkBook" call?

You can access virtually any element of data within outlook via the relevent library using VBA and iterate through the relevant collections. Admittedly I haven't accessed the contacts info, but I have easily read email into Access and sent email by adding to the outlook outbox.

I'm sure it can be done. First off add the refer3ence to the outlook library and then I'd suggest you examine the objects revealed by intellisense

    Specifics Please

The help I found on this is:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...tml/creadd.asp

Unfortunately I have not been able to make this code work.

What I need, quickly, is some working code that will do this.

    Thanks!
