    Unanswered: Date Default Value

    Hello,

I want to set a default date on one of my forms to 01.01.1995, but it isn't working. I have tried everything, but I continue to get errors or some date in the 1800s. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks-
    Theresia

How are you setting it? What control is this being set on? Let's see some code ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

    Lightbulb Hope this helps ...

    Create the text box.

In the 'Data' Properties of the text box ...

    Set Input Mask to: 99.99.0000
    Set Default Value to: "01011995"

    That should do it ....

NOTE: While testing the default value, make sure you completely close the form and reopen it ... the Default Value property is only input when a new record is added. You should not require any coding for this issue.
