    Unanswered: CLP options

    I am using db2 8.2 on AIX,

    I have list of sqls in a flat file, when I try to execute from AIX CLP by using
    db2 -td; -f <filename> i am getting DB21002E error saying DB2OPTIONS -f not defined.

    How to solve this?

    Thanks,

    Allian

    A semicolon has special meaning for the shell; quote or escape it.

    For example: db2 "-td; -f <filename>"

    thanks for your reply.

    now I getting

    $ db2 "-td; -f c1.txt -z repc1.txt"
    DB21002E The parameter for option "-t" specified after the 'db2' command or
    in the DB2OPTIONS variable is missing or incorrect.

    can you tell me why this is happening?

    thanks,

    db2 -z repc1.txt -tf c1.txt

    ; is the default.
