Unanswered: Updating data inside of a subform.

I have a subform, which is a chart form, the data for which is based in a table. This is embedded on a form with start and end date text boxes and a button which runs the make table query.

Once the query is run, how do I go about updating the chart's display with this new data.

    TIA.

Put this in your code that calls the make table query. (Assuming you're using code and not a macro) me.SubformName.Requery

*Make sure the subform name you're using is correct, you'll find it in the subform properties, in the 'other' tab under name.
    Hope this helps! Krista

I've tried what you said Krista, but the graph still does not appear to update.

I have the form name correct and it does not error on this line. Putting it into break mode, the code simply goes over this line as if it's processed it, but the graph does not re-draw or seem to update.

    Any other ideas??

    TIA.

You could try using the .refresh instead of .requery.

.refresh isn't an option I can use as it would appear that that function isn't known.

It's strange this, and I don't understand it.

    Any other ideas?

    TIA.

Thanks for the help Krista, the code now works, the line has to read...

    Me.{Name of Form}.Form.Refresh

Thanks for all the help though.
