    1. Post your Create user statement ...
    2. What is the actual error message that you are getting ???
    My guess would be quotas on a tablespace, but without the real error,
    that guess is just about useless.

    Actual error message would be more helpful than "there is an error about table space", because in my 8.1.7 this works well:
    Code:
    SQL> create user nick identified by nick;

    User created.

    SQL> grant create session, create table, create view to nick;

    Grant succeeded.

    SQL>
    So, what was the error? Did you try to specify user's default tablespace? For example,

    CREATE USER nick IDENTIFIED BY nick DEFAULT TABLESPACE system;

    P.S. Hi, Gregg! You type faster than I, but we think the same

    Thanks for your replies. .

    Code:
    SQL> create user nick identified by nick;

    User created.

    SQL> grant create session, create table, create view to nick;

    Grant succeeded.

    when am entered in nick user the error appear :

    Code:
    SQL> create table etable ( no int primary key , name varchar(20));

    ORA-01950: there is no privilages in tablespace 'SYSTEM'

    You don't want to create a user object in the SYSTEM tablespace !!!
    Create your table in another tablespace.

    You may need to set the quota for the user NICK on the tablespace...
    ie,
    ALTER USER nick QUOTA UNLIMITED ON tablespacename

    replace tablespacename with your tablespace that nick is trying to
    create the table in...
