    Unanswered: Get the max Year

I have 7 fields called year, year1, year2, year3, year4, year5, year6. I would like to find the maximum year of these six years. I create a function. let max = year, then compare the max with year1, year2, ... year6. The thing is if year is null. It won't compare others. Any body has this same experience? Thanks.

Use the Nz() function, for example Nz(year1,0). See the Help file for details.

Sooo... you've got one record that could have a variable number different years... we call that a "one-to-many" relationship... guess what I'm suggesting?
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
