Unanswered: how to get all procedures from oracle817

    hi guys,

I know how to get all procedures in 9i using user_procedues, but since there isn't such an view in oracle8i, how can i get all the procedures info?

as i know, view user_objects, user_arguments, user_source are avaiable in 8i, but not enough for me, i can get all procedures using them except for ones who are defined in the packages and have no parameter.

    thanks!

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

Here's a script you can run from SQLPlus... Change the bottom of the
script for the spool command to match with your directory structure.
This will ask you for the owner and the name of the procedure to pull from.

You can write a sql statement to call this script for all objects where object_type = 'PROCEDURE' and automate the entire process (1 text file
per procedure if you needed to)

    Thumbs down

Why deal with cumbersome scripts if you have DDL Wizard?
