    What are the general things I should be looking to speed up my table load process?

    Load the table without the indexes and build them after the load

    use High Performance Loader

    Yes, DROP/DISABLE INDEXES, CONSTRAINTS , TRIGGERS
    also..

    ALTER TABLE tableName TYPE(RAW) ;
    LOAD DATA
    ALTER TABLE tableName TYPE(STANDARD) ;

    then
    RE-ENABLE INDEX/CONSTRAINTS.
    UPDATE STATISTICS

    The High Performance Loader does all of the above for you in Express Mode, except maybee for Triggers and Statistics.

    Thanks for all your responses. I guess it's tine to read on HPL. I was just using basic load/unload. My load on tables with blob data is getting to be so ridiculous.

    It was not clear from the documentation if unloading data from one server and loading the data to another server is possible using onpladm. If so, can you please point me to the right direction(documentation). Thanks.
