    like this

    Code:
    Sub TestIt()
        Range("A1").Replace "", "This Value"

    End Sub
    ' or

    Sub TestIt2()
        Range("A1:A10").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).Value = "This Value"
    End Sub
    I think that is what you mean anyway

    All the best
    Dave

    Could you assist me:
    looking at column H value of activecell
    if next cell down 1 row in same column is blank to copy value of previous activecell
    if not blank goto next row down
    and repeat for 7 rows?
