    Unanswered: SQL Plus question

I do have 2 oracle 9.2 server on Windows 2000, on one server (Server A), instance infsdb has been created, and I run Net Configuration Assistant on another Server (Server B) to add the service name on Server A, and I can use GUI SQL plus to connect the instance, however, when I use command line SQL plus, I can not connect it and the following error has been prompted:

    ERROR:
    ORA-12560: TNS: protocol adapter error

I did "set ORACLE_SID=infsdb", pls. advice what is the problem, thx.

What is the command you're using to connect to SQL*Plus through command line? Depending on TNSNAMES.ORA, SQLNET.ORA and LISTENER.ORA files (you might post them here), it could be something like

    SQLPLUS username/password@infsdb

(did you, perhaps, miss to add the bold part?)
