    Unanswered: Can't connect to MySQL

I tested the connection to a MySQL Server using a PHP page in my home PC and it worked OK. Then I uploaded the sources to a Web Hosting.
But using Internet when I click the link to see data from MySQL I get the following message:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/h/o/s/host6459334/html/Connections/cdatos.php on line 9

Fatal error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/h/o/s/host6459334/html/Connections/cdatos.php on line 9
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    What does meant '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)?
    Any Idea?

    I will appreciate any clue.

Sounds like you have the wrong Database Username and Password specified. Make sure you have the correct username and password.
