Unanswered: convert sqlserver 'if then select' to oracle

How would I convert the following sql server statement to oracle so that I can execute one select statement or the other based on a condition and return the result set to the user ?

    Code:
    if 10 >1
    begin
    	select 'true'
    end
    else
    begin
    	select 'false'
    end

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Release.

never mind... this sample did not reflect the real world scenario that my colleague needed to solve. I can fix the real problem using CASE statements.

    Cheers,

    Paul.
