    Unanswered: Change from InnoDB to MYISAM

    I have installed MySQL 5 and would like to change the database type from InnoDB to MYISAM, how do I do that ?

    if u want to change ur table type to myisam then u can use
    alter table tablename engine = myisam;

    U should change ur configuration file my.cnf in ur mysql intallation root directory.

    just add dis line to ur configuration file. its either a my.cfn or a my.ini filename. Under mysqld entry. This filename located in ur mysql subdirectory. i hop u dis can help u.
    default-table-type=myisam
