    Smile Unanswered: Open Server Error: 16144.10.0

    Hi,

    I am use ASE 12.5.0.3 on Windows 2000 (SP4).

    While bacing up, the backup-procedure sends thuis statement to the ASE-error-log:
    Sep 14 11:02:19 2005: Open Server Error: 16144.10.0: Server process '137' is not allocated in 'srv__prepare_for_suspend'
    .

    What happens and what can I do?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    I think you should upgrade your O/Client

    CR312057 is fixed in ASE12.5.1

    Open Server getting " Recursive Calls to srv__seterr()"

    Sorry the change request is CRs 312057 / 322705.
    Fixed in ASE 12.5.1 or Open Server 12.5 ESD#14

    Request for building ASE 12.5.0.x with OCS 12.5 EBF#11 or higher.
    Open Server getting " Recursive Calls to srv__seterr()"

    hope will help you

    Cool Thanks but...

    Thanks for your reply.

    The last two lines confuse me.
    Can I leave the ASE the same (12.5.0.3 EBF 11449) and only upgrade the OCS to 12.5 EBF#11 (or higher)?

    Thanks in advance

    humm good question.

    In my personnal opinion,

    you could upgrade an OC without ASE only on the same version :

    ASE 12.5.0.X --> OCS 12.5.0.X ESDXX

    ASE 12.5.1.X --> OCS 12.5.1.X ESDXXX.

    and on windows it seems difficult to separate the two parties (ASE OCS)
    so I think to be sure , you should upgrade ASE and OCS.
