    Unanswered: Help

I have a question about coldfusion. I know this is not right place. I just want to have idea. I have several products by using dropdown box, I would like, when I select one product, it will automatically display the price and also when they select the quantity, it will display the total amount. By using coldfusion, there is no onselect event. Anybody give me any idea, how to handle this. So that it will save the product, the total amount to the database? Thanks.

Have never used coldfusion, but as a web based app environment I'm guessing that you pass the selctions on the form to another form and do you processing there. The 'other' form could be the same form. You do not have any functional equivalents of Access's events. Another alternative may be to consider using Access "Data Access Pages", providing your users can satisfy the licenscing issues
