    Unanswered: Tablespace Management

    Dear all,

    I have to schedule a script which will tell me the amount of free space left in each tablespace available in the database. Please let me know how to proceed with this script.

    Regards,
    Santhosh

    What platform?

    You can schedule it through the Task Center if you've set up your admin instance. Or you can use the operating system's native scheduling, ie. crontab.

    I use the script in the following link

    http://www.db2click.com/my_script_di...space.ksh.html

    usage -> db2_tspace.ksh -d dbname

    not useful if you have sms tablespaces. THis only helps if you have dms
