Unanswered: Utility for fixing MDE file

I have an access database in MDE, I can not open it because it is corrupted with the following error:

    Error#: 3197
#The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.#

I know that the JETCOMP.exe utility from Microsoft can recover the MDB (but not MDE) database file. Do you know of any utility similar to JETCOMP out there that can recover MDE file?

    Thanks,

    Henry

    Hi Henry

Check out http://www.dbforums.com/t1105265.html - perhaps Wayne has made some good progress on his reverse engineering of MDEs....

BTW - you probably know this by now but... always always keep a safe, backed up copy of your master mdb to hand - the MDE should really be considered completely disposable.
