    Unanswered: Highlighting in Crystal Reports

    All,

I need to add highlighting to an existing report template. I am aware that I can accomplish highlighting of a field through adding conditional formatting by creating a formula.

I have written a formula that will search a field for a string, and highlight if that field contains that string (if it is a substring of that field, for example). However, if I specify a substring that is contained in the field, I need Crystal Reports to highlight that substring only, not just the entire field like it is currently doing.

    How can I accomplish this?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Use the background color format property of the field and use the "IF" condition. I normally use yellow.
