Unhappy Unanswered: How to give a restrict elapsed time CPU to an USER ORACLE

    Hi everybody.

I've got two questions for you...

One : How can we limit the CPU TIME for a requester ( USER ORACLE or THREAD )

TWO : How can we give more priority to a user rather than another ... ??

I've USER1 and USER2 and I want that USER2 Has the result of his query faster and earlier than USER1

Can we do that with Oracle PACKAGES ..????

    Thanks for your response....

You can do that using Oracle Profiles.

For priority look into Resources, or Resource Manager.
