I just inherited a system that was running on a server in the central timezone and has been relocated to the eastern timezone. All times stored in the db are central time. Since the move any db code that uses sysdate is causing problems. Eastern times are being inserted instead of central. Is there an easy way to offset the time? Also, the test servers are located in the central timezone so whatever solution I use has to work on both servers in both timezones. So the solution isn't as simple as refactoring sysdate to sysdate - 1/24.
