Angry Unanswered: owa_util.get_cgi_env('REMOTE_ADDR')) still bring the ip proxy

Hi, Im having a problem , when I try to get the real ip client, not proxy
Im using owa_util.get_cgi_env('REMOTE_ADDR')), but this return me
the proxy. I knew that if I to config (and I did) the apache and set cgi_env = HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR in the , the browser will show the real ip, but still do not work!!

This is an expected result when you're using proxies. As far as Oracle supplied APIs are concerned the proxy server is the remote server.

HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR if it is not empty, then a proxy is used. Value is a real IP address of a client (your IP), this variable is also added by a proxy server if you use one.
What does it have to do with Oracle though?
