    Unanswered: Database memory usage

    Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how much memory each db is using, I have used the tool 'db2mtrk' but not understand how the memory is calculated there as the values do add up, for example,

Memory for database: XYZ (output from db2mtrk command)

Backup/Restore/Util Heap has watermark of 16384 bytes
Package Cache has watermark of 163840 bytes
Catalog Cache Heap has watermark of 81920 bytes
Buffer Pool Heap has watermark of 4784128 bytes
Buffer Pool Heap has watermark of 1081344 bytes
Buffer Pool Heap has watermark of 819200 bytes
Buffer Pool Heap has watermark of 688128 bytes
Buffer Pool Heap has watermark of 622592 bytes
Lock Manager Heap has watermark of 491520 bytes
Database Heap has watermark of 3424256 bytes
Other Memory has watermark of 43024384 bytes
Application Control Heap has watermark of 16384 bytes
Application Control Heap has watermark of 81920 bytes

    Total: 55296000 bytes

Here it shows total 55296000 bytes but if I look at one of the bufferpools in the db is a already 150mb so how can the size of the db be 55mb (55296000 bytes) maybe I'm reading this wrong can someone please explain

    Thanks
