    Unanswered: Access the "Groups" collection - Workspace?

    Hullo folks:

    I am trying to figure out how to access the "groups" collection present in the database window (the last section on the left, under modules if you don't have any data access pages). Reason being I am salvaging/normalizing historical data where each fiscal quarter was designed as a seperate database. I've imported all the objects into a single database and grouped them according to quarter for quick reference. I choose grouping is for convience of viewing all of a given quarters objects (reports, forms etc) in one view.

    So, anybody know how to get ahold of the groups collection and the items within each group?

    Edit: I should add that currently I'm sniffing around the DBEngine property to see if I can find what I need in the Containers collection, I'm not sure if i'm anywhere near the right ballpark or not... So far this is what I get when I try to enumerate the containers collection:

    Properties of DataAccessPages container
    Name = DataAccessPages
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of Databases container
    Name = Databases
    Owner = Engine
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 393216
    AllPermissions = 393216
    Inherit = False
    Properties of Forms container
    Name = Forms
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of Modules container
    Name = Modules
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of Relationships container
    Name = Relationships
    Owner = Engine
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 393217
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = False
    Properties of Reports container
    Name = Reports
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of Scripts container
    Name = Scripts
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of SysRel container
    Name = SysRel
    Owner = admin
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048575
    AllPermissions = 1048575
    Inherit = True
    Properties of Tables container
    Name = Tables
    Owner = Engine
    UserName = admin
    Permissions = 1048319
    AllPermissions = 1048319

    Hi Teddy

    I doubt this is really much use to you but....
    I've tried dbengine, workspace, database collections (and the documents within them). No joy. I had a nose around commandbars in case it was considered a menu but again not really getting far I am afraid.
    Let us know how you get on
