    Unanswered: Send Mail

    Public Function SendNotesMail(strTo As String, strSubject As String, strBody As String)
    Dim doc As Object
    Dim oSess As Object
    Dim oDB As Object

    Set oSess = CreateObject("Notes.NotesSession")
    Set oDB = oSess.GETDATABASE("", "")
    Call oDB.OPENMAIL

    Set doc = oDB.CREATEDOCUMENT
    doc.sendto = strTo
    doc.subject = strSubject
    doc.body = strBody & vbCrLf & vbCrLf

    doc.send False

    End Function

    This code is for Lotus Notes, right.

    But, when run it without open the Lotus Notes, then there is a problem, it needs the password and some setting, so I need to open it before sending.

    Does any code for using IE explorer to send e-mail? My company 's computer's IE can send e-mail itself. And, it does NOT need password. So, I want to use it to send. But, when I send mail, it will launch the Lotus Notes.
    Please let me know, thanks a lot.

    Visit this link. I've used it before and it works great. You don't have to have the email client open and you don't have to click send.
