    Unanswered: No Conditional Formatting in .ADP Form?

    I create a form in an .adp and choose a SQL Server stored procedure as RecordSource for the form.

    When I select a field and apply conditional formatting, it doesn't have any effect at runtime.

    I also noticed I can't have conditional ControlSource for a control like I can in a .MDB, for example:
    ControlSource = IIF(LEN([MyField1])<1,[MyField2],[MyField1])

    Anybody know a workaround?

    Thanks,
    Carl

    OK, my boob, sort of...

    The form imported from the .mdb, with its recordSource = storedProcSQLSvr
    didn't inherit useable conditional formatting. If I create a form in the .adp, it works as expected.

    So, reuse at your own peril. The, there might be some decom/recompile thing that I could'nt recall from past postings.

    This is a know problem in the MS knowledge base, they say to create copies of your forms and set the has module property to false which blows away all the code behind, import into the .adp, then restore the code behind. ok...
