    Question Unanswered: Control source field as value list

    Hi!
    I have a strored proc which adds up fields separated by semicolon into a new one and I'd like to use it as a combo box's control source field as a Value list. But it's just insert the whole field into one line like value1;value2;value3 .
    Is there any way to get these values selectable in the combo box?

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Vill

    No reason it shouldn't work:
    Code:
     	Dim s As String

    	s = "one;Two;Three"

    	Me.Combo0.RowSource = s
    	Me.Combo0.Requery
    There may be several reasons why you should never have to find out - why concatentate table values into a single string and then unconcatentate them again at the client?

    Beg your pardon - reread your post and now it reads more like a normalisation issue - are you sure you don't have columns where you should instead have rows?

    Thanks, I've adopted your idea. I've given the field value to a string and added some code to the combo's getFocus event.
