Please help i'm no access whiz, just a basic database where i am trying to search a memo field within my table and and it will only bring back the word specified in a parameter query if it is the first word in the field entry. For example it will find and return "THE" in field entry "The Three Horseshoes" but it will not find it in "Inn on THE green" so my results are always false. PLeeeease help its driving me mad the parameter i am using is LIKE [establishment name] &"*"
LIKE [establishment name] &"*" = are say find word 'the' and *
LIKE "*" & [establishment name] &"*" = say * and the word 'the' and *
