    Have been given this Database to fix it a small on

    I want do a Like Command Showing all the '**' by *

    And yes I know it i wrong But I have to fix it and They want to keep the **

    de[ending on the version of Access (A2000 / V9 on) consider swtiching to ANSI compatibility mode -which makes the wild card caracter '%' instead of JET's default '*'*

    Not tried, but theoretically it should work

    Not 100% sure what you are asking but... if healdems ideas doesnt work then try combining INSTR and MID.
