connect to isql and user following...

    sp_password "caller's password","new password","userid"

here caller's password means the password of the user you used to connect to the isql

You need to log in as a user with sso_role, and run sp_password with the current users's password, the new password for the login that you are resetting, and that login name:

    isql -Usa -Ptoto -SMYSRV
    1> sp_password toto, new_passwd, the_user
    2> go
