    Unanswered: Text box value = combo box value.

    I have an unbound combo box that populates from a selection of another unbound combo box. When the user selects an item in the second unbound combo box, I want that selection to appear in a text box I have on the same form.

    For the text box control source I have:

    =Forms!Procedures!ItemName!

    The ID number is the only thing appearing (column 0). I need to add script so only column 3 appears in the text box. What is the syntax for something like that?

    Thanks!!

    Set column widths to:

    0";0";1"

    I double checked and I do have my first two columns width at 0" with the third column at 1". But it's still pulling the "information" from column 0.

    Any ideas?

    Oh. I see what you're talking about. Look at the column() property for the combo box.

    yourTextBox = yourComboBox.Column(2)
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    ... Hmmmm ... How about changing your BoundColumn perhaps ... Then you wouldn't have to reference the column # explicitly ...
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
