Unanswered: Use OLE Object for data entry?

I have a memo data type field on a database but it does not provide enough space to type everything needed into the one field.

I know someone who solved this problem with a database they created by using the OLE Object as the data type.

Is this the correct way to do it?

    Thanks!!

Everything I read about OLE Objects seems complicated. I read on Microsoft's website the you should OLE Object if you want to store formatted text or long documents.

I just want to see if anyone has any advice regarding using OLE Object in this manner. It seems there's so much you can do with an OLE Object but for me, it's just the amount of text issue.
