    Unanswered: Access SQL Help

Would be great if someone could give me code to perform the following:

    have data in a table

    Product

    46500
    46500
    46500
    46500
    46500
    46750
    46750
    46750
    46750
    46750

Need to add a colum "Count" that does

    Product Count

    46500 1
    46500 2
    46500 3
    46500 4
    46500 5
    46750 1
    46750 2
    46750 3
    46750 4
    46750 5
    46750 6
    46625 1
    46625 2
    46625 3
    46625 4
    46625 5
    46625 6

Have tried various VB functions without luck. Thanks in advance.

You can use a recordset, go through it copare every row with the next.

Does it have to be in a query? This would be trivial to do as a report using running sum...
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
