    Is it db2expln -d (databasename) - f (inputfilename) -g ???

can i have more than one sql statement in the input file?

    my environment is

    AIX 5.3, DB2 8.2

    Thanks,

db2expln -d datbase -t -stmtfile ./y -g -terminator ";" has worked for me; I have the SQL statement, terminated by ";" in file y of current directory; you get other options in Admin Guide: Performance. I find visual explain from Control center to be very useful.

Some of the functions in the Control Center require the Administrative Server (DAS) to run on the database server.
