    Unanswered: Printer problem

    Anybody please help me about the printer. I have a user want to print the letter from tray3, he slects the tray3, but it always print from tray2. I tried by myself. It is the same thing. Anybody can help me?

    No, there are plenty paper in tray3. Our printer different trays for differen users.

    Can you/they print to tray3 in any other application? Say from notepad?

    Thank you. I should tell you more. When i create a wordfile from his PC, it works fine from tray3. But the wordfile he got from email won't print from tray 3.

    Ah, so this ISN'T an access problem.

    Did you consider... oh say... contacting the manufacturer for support instead of a random database forum?

    I had a similar problem once, but the solution may not be the same for you. In my situation, we just could not get anything to print on paper from tray 2. We tried and tried different solutions, but no matter what we did, the printer kicked out a piece of paper, but there was never anything printed ON the paper.

    We called the tech guy from the place we leased the printer from, and he came out and determined that someone had replaced the normal paper we used with BLACK colored paper. So it actually WAS printing, we just couldn't see it because it was printing black characters on black paper. DUH!!!

    If I was you I'd check to make sure there is no black paper in your printer.
