    Unanswered: DB2 Node Discovery in AD DOMAIN??

    Hi,

    I'm running 2 instances of DB2 Universal DB Version 7 in the same NT domain (wk3). One of those server is our production server the other one is a HA cold server.

    Here is my problem :

    The HA server is cataloged by the production server and from time to time a command I run on the production server will be executed on the HA server (eg. I issue a create DB command on the production server but the DB is created on the HA server) I tried to uncatalog the HA server but it comes back.

    How can I prevent this to happen ?

    Thx for your help,

    Vince.

    Node 1 entry:

    Node name = SERVER2
    Comment =
    Protocol = TCPIP
    Hostname = server2.test.com
    Service name = 50000

    Node 2 entry:

    Node name = XSERVER
    Comment =
    Protocol = TCPIP
    Hostname = xserver.test.com
    Service name = 50000

    db2 => uncatalog node SERVER2
    SQL1021N The node name "SERVER2" specified in the UNCATALOG NODE command was not found.
