Unanswered: db2nodes.cfg in Non Partitioned Environment

    I remember seeing a db2nodes.cfg file in Windows & Linux using V8.

However, now I'm working with V7 on Windows & Solaris and do not see this file.

Does this file exist only when using software of V8 DB2 - where DPF is bundled with the product, even in a non partitioned environment?

Does this file not exist when using V7 software, where DPF is a separate add on product? Pls clarify.

    TIA.

Yes, db2nodes.cfg file will exist on EEE environment only with irrespective of version 7 or 8. Basically this file contains the nodes information.
