    Unanswered: Access 2003 Data Encryption

    Hi everyone,

I'm somewhat new to the DB scene. I was wondering if there is any way to secure the data in an Access Database by encrypting it. Does Access allow encryption at this level? Or even better, at the table or column level?

Does this need to be done programmatically? If so, can anyone suggest some good encryption algorithms?

    Thanks.

You're pretty much stuck doing it programmatically. You would be interested in CAPICOM, which exposes the cryptoAPI for a variety of encryption methods.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
