    Question Unanswered: MS Access Triggers

    Hi,

    I am posting to this thread as this was the closest match. My query is abotu triggers and stored procedures in MS access 2000, Can we create triggers / stored procedures for insert / update / delete for a table in MS Access 2000 ?

    MS Access does not support triggers. HOWEVER, if you are using an MS ADP (Access Database Project) and you connect to a SQL Server Backend, then the story is very different.

    The closest thing you can do to a trigger in MS Access is to create event-based code on each of the forms that allows editing of your data.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
