    Unhappy Unanswered: Tab Control

I recently started exper. with tab controls on a form. The problem I am running into is when a put a text box or a combo box on page 1 and then go to page 2 the text or combo box is still there (on all the pages in the tab control)

Like I said I have never used the tab control, so I am not sure how to fix it.

    i.e.
    textbox1 and combobox1 on page1
click on page 2 and it should be blank
but textbox1 and combobox1 on now on page2, and are still on page1 also

What am I doing wrong, I have looked at several example databases and all the data information and formating on the form and tab control are identical to that of other sample databases that work.

    thanks

    Hi
I had the same problem when i first started using tabs. There is a bit of a knack.

    method 1:
    - add the text box to your main form (not the tab section)
    - cut (ctrl-X) the text box.
    - click on the tab where you want the text box to go
    - press ctrl-v (the text box will be pasted onto the tab)

    method 2
    - click on the tab where you want the text box to go
    - open the field list
    - drag the required text box from the field list over the tab control (and let go!)
