    Unanswered: first record is blank

I have a query which works fine;however, when I put it into a report, the first record is blank. It doesn't matter how it is sorted or grouped, the first record is always blank. How can I get rid of this? Thanks for any help!

Do you get any blank records when you run the query the report is based on by itself? do you have grouping levels setup in your report that would effectively negate any sorting you might apply?
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
