    Unanswered: Creating Menus

    Hello.

I am a novice Access user. I can create a table, forms and reports. I would like to be able to create a Menu that users can navigate to update the database or view reports.

Is there a good tutorial on how this can be done?

    Thanks.

imho, the easiest way for the novice is:
    - Create a blank form (not bound to any data).
    - add a command button using the wizard in the toolbox
    - follow the wizard adding the functionality you want the button to execute e.g. open another menu (form), run a report, open a query.

    That's it !

You could also search for Switchboard Manager for information on how to create a switchboard (switchboard is a menu).

But I prefer to do it the way howey explained because you have more control. The switchboard will only allow you to have 8 items per menu.
