    Unanswered: Oracle transaction logs

    Hi guys.

I don't nothing about database administration, but I'm facing a problem of disappearance of some records in a specific table in my db, and I'm wondering how this happened, as I log in with a read-only user. The most appropriate way to solve this, I guess, would be checking out the last transactions (if anything occurred, it did, at most, yesterday) on this table.

I'd say that the DBMS has a transaction log, and probably something more specific which would allow me to search for transactions within a specific table. But I don't have idea of what could it be and how would I access it.

Anyone can help me on this ?
    Thanks in advance,

Is your database in Archive Log Mode ? Since the only way I know to get through this (if it is) is to make recovery on the especific tablespace this table resides until yesterday ( with the RECOVER command ).
