    Question Unanswered: start multiple reports in one go

    I am using CR10 and Crystal Enterprise. I have got multiple reports with the same user parameters. I would like to know how I can make it possible for the users to enter the user parameters once and then run multiple reports using these parameters in on go. Is this possible? How? Is there third party software to facilitate this?

    Compile all your Crystal Reports into one .exe. It will run in standalone mode and even allow option to print multiple copies.

    Or you can create sub reports and pass the parameters.

    OR if you can use sub routine in your created application.

    If you must have the existing subreports in your main reports, then you may want to use third party to create a small routine like in VB you can use the code below..
    Code:
    Private Sub PrintWO()
    MousePointer = vbHourglass
    On Error GoTo ErrShow
    With CrystalPrint
    Dim YourReportFileName(2) as string
    YourReportFileName(1) = “Report1”
    YourReportFileName(2) = “Report2”
     For x = 1 to 2
    .ReportFileName = YourReportFileName(x)
    .SelectionFormula = “{tblData.IDToFind}=’” & txtIDToFind.Text & “’”
    .Action = crRunReport
    next
    End With
    MousePointer = vbDefault
    Exit Sub
    ErrShow:MsgBox "Error: " & Err.Number & ": " & Err.Description
    End Sub
    or use the Crystal web server to create ASP for you localhost or IIS to do the same but to execute in Web Browser .
