Everything was ok, and running good... until...
---
I use a script, to pull data from DB, and display it... once I clicked URL, and got no response for few seconds, when it usually runs less than a second.
I waited a little, and pressed F5 to completely refresh the page. Success, liks worked, and connection went good... few more clicks, everything's working...
Left this script alone...
... 30 mins later ...
clicking the link - no response.
F5 - same staff, no response...
From that time 2 days passed, I'm still not able to connect...
...
This script was run under linux, using FreeTDS lib.
What is remarkable - SQL server runs on port 1051, instead of standard 1433, even though, there is no other programms listening to 1433.
...
Experimenting further...
...
Have ODBC DSNs installed on each computer, that run another programm, but connect to the same database.
All works just fine, even though I experience problems in Linux...
Until...
If I go to ODBC settings, and save them without changes - I'm not able to connect to that server from that moment...
ODBC set up to use TCP/IP connection... SQL server set up to use it too.
If I change it to Named Pipes - connection works. Switching back to TCP/IP - won't allow to connect again.
And there is no response from server. I tried to read dump of the data sent to the server - after sending login information - no response.

Anyone have any ideas???
